Where you’ll fit in

As a Corporate Sales & Experience Specialist, you will play a key role in growing Clayton & Crume’s wholesale and corporate sales business. This position is responsible for developing new business, managing client relationships, growing existing accounts, and helping companies create meaningful, high-quality products that represent their brand well.

This role is not just about taking orders. It is about building long-term relationships, identifying opportunities, asking the right questions, and helping clients find the right product solutions. You will work across corporate gifting, custom leather goods, wholesale accounts, events, activations, and strategic partnerships.

To be successful, you must be a self-starter, possess strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrate effective sales and follow-up habits. It is essential to maintain a client-first attitude, going above and beyond to ensure both customer and client satisfaction.

You must thrive in a fast-paced environment that values creativity, collaboration, accountability, and a strong work ethic. The ability to prioritize projects, manage multiple accounts, communicate clearly, and stick to deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism is essential.

You will have an immediate impact on the ways we grow our brand’s reach, while sharpening your sales skills and establishing your role in a quickly growing company.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Developing and growing a book of wholesale and corporate sales accounts through consistent outreach, follow-up, and relationship management

  • Prospecting new business through email, phone calls, LinkedIn, trade show lists, referrals, past clients, and more. 

  • Building strong relationships with our corporate clients, both past and future. 

  • Using strong discovery skills to understand client goals, timing, budget, audience, and product needs

  • Creating thoughtful product recommendations, quotes, and proposals that align with client needs.

  • Managing the sales process from first outreach through close, handoff, production coordination, and post-sale follow-up

  • Maintaining accurate pipeline notes, next steps, follow-ups, close dates, and account details in the team’s operating system

  • Coming prepared to weekly meetings and 1:1s with sales team director

  • Working cross-functionally with operations, production, logistics, creative, marketing, and finance to ensure orders are accurate, on time, and well-executed

  • Supporting activations, shows, events, and client-facing opportunities when needed

  • Helping identify new industries, accounts, events, and opportunities that fit the Clayton & Crume brand

  • Following internal processes for product setup, order details, approvals, payment, inventory allocation, and client communication

  • Representing Clayton & Crume with professionalism, urgency, taste, and a relationship-first mindset

  • B2B, wholesale, corporate gifting, hospitality, events, or premium consumer goods sales experience preferred

  • Experience with CRM softwares

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams to execute client orders and projects
