Marketing Director

We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial minded, and data-driven professional to lead our marketing team. You will report to the VP of Marketing and will be responsible for playing a critical role in the strategy, ideation, and development of Clayton & Crume’s omni-channel marketing strategy. We are looking for a leader that’s versed in ecommerce marketing, email marketing, paid digital, retail marketing, and more. This individual is entrepreneurial-minded, embracing hands-on experimentation, rigorous data analysis, and continual optimization of both existing and new marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, retention, and engagement across our online segment. The ideal candidate will be collaborative with the VP of Marketing as well as run solo on projects. 

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive omni-channel marketing strategy, including but not limited to:
    • Ecommerce marketing (Shopify)
    • Email and SMS marketing (Klaviyo)
    • Performance marketing (paid social, search, shopping, display, SEO, CTV, OTT)
    • Organic Social (IG, FB, Tik Tok, Youtube, Pinterest)
    • Direct mail and out-of-home campaigns
  • Develop and implement new and existing marketing and sales strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, engagement.
  • Develop Clayton & Crume’s Paid Digital Strategy through, but not limited to paid social, search, shopping, display, SEO, email, SMS, direct mail, CTV, OTT, podcasts, and more. You’ll be responsible for continual testing and innovation to maximize revenue at our new customer ROAS and CPA targets.
  • Strategize and deploy a customer retention strategy via paid digital and email automations. 
  • Develop a full funnel acquisition strategy, share performance trends, insights, and analysis, and collaborate on challenges and opportunities for reaching new customer segments.
  • Responsible for managing the marketing P&L, analyzing performance, and aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing on quarterly strategies, identify growth opportunities, and execute marketing initiatives seamlessly across channels.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of photoshoots, video shoots, social media content creation, and influencer content collaborations to ensure alignment with brand vision and objectives.
  • Develop and implement innovative retail marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive foot traffic, and increase sales across our physical store locations.
  • Lead website management efforts, ensuring seamless functionality, engaging user experience, and optimization for increased traffic, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze inventory and product collections, and contribute to new product roll-out strategy. 
  • Must be a team player, able to work within budgets and tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

What you’ll bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a relevant field
  • 3+ years of managerial experience specialized in marketing
  • Leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Experience in Ads manager, G4A, ecommerce platforms, email marketing platforms. 
  • Experience implementing new marketing initiatives and conversion tracking. Robust knowledge in excel
  • Keen understanding of the Clayton & Crume brand, mission and customer
  • The ability to understand what DTC levers to pull to hit business and department goals
