A Letter From our Co-Founder, Tyler Jury

"When Rob Samuels attended a VIP event at our flagship retail store last year, I wasn’t able to be there. I was bummed—I grew up admiring Maker’s Mark and had looked forward to finally shaking Rob’s hand. But from afar, I got a text from one of our longest-tenured employees:

‘Rob just told the group he feels like he’s on hallowed ground.’

That moment wasn’t lost on me.

Upstairs is where our store’s history truly comes to life. A former boxing gym, the space is steeped in history—brick walls wrapped around a giant, banner-sized photo of Cassius Clay at his first training session after winning Olympic gold in 1960.

Step inside, and you feel it. The original gym flooring from Bud Bruner’s “Headline Boxing Gym” still stands as the heart of the space. It’s a place where legends trained. Where stories unfolded.

And on Thursday, March 20th, it’s where you'll sit for the series and where we’ll share one with you.

We’re rolling out the next edition of C&C’s Master Distiller Series and releasing our most exclusive Maker’s Mark Private Select Pick —affectionately titled "Stitch."

This one’s special.

Rob Samuels & Bill Samuels Jr. from Maker’s Mark will be in attendance. Donald "Donnie" Stitch will represent his father, Rudell Stitch—a name you’ll want to remember. His story is one you’ll never forget. 

Bourbon cocktails, bourbon flights, and a hell of a good time. The Private Select bottle is spectacular, and this event is the only way to get first dibs.

And because this story is bigger than just one night—C&C will be matching a portion of the proceeds to kick off the 'Rudell Stitch Memorial Scholarship.' Every year, we’ll partner with his family to fund a charity of their choice.
